Democratic Campaigning by Bernie Long, Jamesburg Democratic Chairman

Once again campaign time is here, often refered to as the "silly season." Under no circumstances will negative campaigning be allowed by Democrats in Jamesburg. We campaign on our accomplishments, the improvements in town, and our plans for the future.

Those who indulge in mudslinging and badmouthing the opposition are those who have nothing to offer. Our opponents are to be treated with politeness and respect - they are people who also care about the town.

Our campaign signs are to be put up no sooner than 30 days before the election and removed as soon as possible after the election, usually election night, weather permitting. Signs are only to be put on property with the owners permission, including any areas they maintain.

Please campaign clean and hard, enjoy this season, and meet with the public!
