Historic Intravartolo Barn Renovation Project
Beginning in July 2004, the historic Intravartolo Barn was renovated as part of a large project that included the historic Intravartolo
house, which sits on East Railroad Avenue. The barn was originally constructed of a green-tinge stone circa 1890, with a gambrel roof
and slate shingles. The barn was once used as part of a mortuary business owned by P. H. Pownall. Unfortunately the renovations demolished
the entire roof and the stone was covered with stucco. Below is a pictorial timeline of the renovations.
