Buckelew Day 2002



Jamesburg celebrated its founder's 201st birthday in grand style at the Buckelew Mansion. Saturday, August 17th was Buckelew Day, an annual celebration held at the residence of Jamesburg's founder, Mr. James Buckelew. Lakeview was open for tours, President Lincoln and his wife were on hand, a dixieland band performed and the Jamesburg Canon was fired during the Civil War Encampment, among many other events throughout the day.
